I always liked the idea of collecting something you really love. It was never very practical for me in terms of space or, you know, the Fabergé Eggs were a little pricey. When I was still in college I started to buy these old (right, of course I mean “vintage”) dessert plates, one or two at a time. We use them frequently and I have enough to serve cake or cookies on when there is a crowd. I think it’s the perfectly practical way to show off my collection. What do you collect?
