About

Hello and welcome to the latest incarnation of my site. This is a photography blog with original work by Juliet Lofaro. I take pictures every day. Here you can find people, food, and other details from the world around me that I find beautiful, fun, and inspiring.
I grew up in the country. I spent the next chapter of my life in New York City. I became enmeshed in the art scene there working with performers, writers, painters and film makers. My early passion for photography was all about the portrait. Whether I was in a studio, on location or hired on a film set, capturing a person in a moment that perfectly expressed who they were was where I excelled.
In my day to day life I am rarely without my camera. I live and breathe admiring the scene before me. Now I find myself in the suburbs of a small city with my husband and little kids. Most of the images on this blog will reflect our daily life exploring nature, busy projects at home, the occasional “art installation” or baked good. I hope to be ever morphing, knowing something new will emerge from being creative every day.

Juliet: You created beautiful headshots for me several years ago. I now need photos of my teenager and would love to talk. Thanks, Shara

Hello,
I was referred to check your work out. I like what I see, but I was hoping to see more headshots. I am in the market for getting a new one. Also, I was interested in your rates and how you do your session.
Please email me whenever you have a chance
Thank you, cheers!
Mina

julie, hey i was surfing around the net saw your page and wow, the comment you made about mark was seriously touching. my sister made friends with him and he came to dinner at my mom’s house a few times. i gave him some expensive paint brushes i found in bradley meadows parking lot once and the guy was really grateful. your photos of the trees at the golf course were cool too. it was weird i knew them before i read that they were from their, latter kiddo, cool seeing your blog
