I was talking with my mom about friendships she’s had for fifty years and more. Imagine. She set a fine example of staying connected to those I’ve had the most fun with. I’m inspired to be back into portrait mode, documenting the people who inspire me to be great.

Easy Breezy Pink Party

Pink streamers. Popcorn.Pink lemonade. Balloons (to decorate with AND to send away with each guest). Pink Cupcakes (see previous post). A bunch of girls. Bill it as a midweek/midday play date. Request pink attire. Craft & game. Mild summer day. Mix well for two hours. Enjoy!

I went to see my friend who is going through her toughest time. I finally got away for a day to see her…and it made us both feel a little better. Besides savoring that longtime connection, we laughed. We laughed for days.

My birth sign kicked in this week. It snowed big flakes and melted already.

We saw so much good and fun work at our first Science Fair last night.

Thoughts of chili and brownies, and more pictures of people.

And these shoes. The whole shop is worth a look. I’ve had it bookmarked since I saw it on decor8 last year!
