Sitting on the sofa with M and in walks Roo (who is 2) holding a single egg asking if she can eat it. I think for a moment of how she may have gotten said egg into her hand …I jump up to see that she’s carried the entire carton off the counter and across the house, placing it somewhat gently on the floor. She’s the one who does things that surprise me so much I run for the camera before I can figure out what to say.

Went to CT for a reunion of sorts and drove through Great Barrington for our first time…I remembered that I knew someone who opened a gourmet shop there a few years ago so we stopped in and found this, some tasty olive oil, and then the girls went nuts for pain au chocolat & croissants.

Drinks

30 Aug

Last Saturday night: Husband and I found a great Mexican restaurant steeped in the tequila tasting trend. My drink: Reposada Tequila, orangerie, lime, agave nectar and grapefruit bitters. It was a seriously earthy margarita. Meaning deep. Meaning it’s probably good that I am not bar hopping during this particular alcohol fad.
